Meet My New Comp :)
Hi friends! Wow! It has been quite the week, you have no idea! Starting with
transfers! I now am out of training and have a new companion. Her name is Sister
Cummard. She's so sweet and I'm so excited to work with her! Though this did
mean I had to say "goodbye" to Sister Bass. We made our last days together a
party though so no worries. With transfers and all the change it brings I've
definitely have had some hard moments, but as I have prayed for help I have been
able to see so many miracles and blessings Heavenly Father has placed in my
path. For instance, just within these past couple days I've had so many sisters
reach out to me saying they have deaf friends they found and wanted to send my
way. Literally everyday I have had someone reach out to me. Another miracle has
just been us being able to be in the right place at the right time. We met so
many people and had so many meaningful conversations that wouldn't have happened
if we weren't in the right place. Lastly and maybe the best one of all was this
amazing virtual tour we had! On the first day of transfers we had nothing to do
so we decided to message every missionary that has ever followed us on Facebook
and asked if they were teaching anyone who would be interested in a virtual
tour. Well friends I'm so glad we did that and followed promptings to reach out
to certain people. Why? Because yesterday like I said we had the best tour ever.
The spirit was so peaceful and strong the whole time. The elders and the friend
they're teaching both made some really great comments. At the end as Sister
Cummard was bearing her testimony I was like I don't know what else to or say
after this so I just said a quick prayer. Though nothing came to mind except I
can just ask the elders if one of them had a thought that popped into their
minds. Well that was exactly what I needed to say because one of the elders said
he DID have something come into his mind. This led to him asking the friend to
be baptized! And he said yes! They set a date for October 17! We're so excited
for them and so thankful we were able to play a small small part. So friends say
your prayers! I promise God is always listening and always helping even if it
takes us a minute to realize. I'm so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who
sent His son. Change is hard but also so so good for us. It allows us to learn
and grow. Christ suffered so that we could have the ability to change and so
that He could then be able to fully comfort us as we go through our earthly
journeys.
I love and miss all of you so much! Keep your faith!
God is good!
Sister Mac 🤟🏻
