For the Lord anything, everything for the Lord
Friends and family hello!
This week we had zone conference which means we're half way through the transfer! Time really flies by. Something that was really stressed was the quote "For the Lord anything, everything for the Lord." I really loved the idea of this and it was a good reminder to me about why I'm here and what my purpose is. Lucky for me I got to put this lesson to use as I had been previously asked to sing in a group of only four at this zone conference. If you're wondering I am not a singer nor were the other 3 girls. It was definetly rough I am not gonna lie. But anything for the Lord am I right?
Yesterday Sister Cummard and I spent 2 hours on square talking to these same three people. Wowza it was a conversation full of millions of deep questions and thoughts. My mind literally felt so dead afterwards haha. Though it was so so good. One of them left with a copy of the Book of Mormon and I think we all left with a better understanding and respect of one another beliefs.
Last but certainly not least... we got to watch general conference this past weekend!! It was amazin GB and very much needed. Anyone who know me knows I'm a huge quote person and so I'm happy to say that I have gained so many new favorites! The spirit was so strong and the messages shared were truly inspired. I really enjoyed the talk given by Michelle D. Craig about how we can have the eyes to see as Christ would. In this talk she said something that really stuck out to me. She said "Wait and trust in God and in His timing, because you can trust His heart with all of yours." Just let that sink in haha. There may be times when we're struggling to understand how God is taking part in our lives, but I promise you He is. Everyday I see so many things that are so divinely placed by our loving Father in Heaven things that wouldn't be possible without Him. I feel so lucky to have an opportunity like this to trust His heart with all of mine.💓
God is good!
