Hi friends! Not too much to update you all on this week, but I still wanted to say hello!!
We're still meeting with our friend Lusiel from Brazil everyday and he's the best! He's so genuine and works hard to understand and come closer to God.
Ok, I don't know what's wrong with Utah or the stores I live by, but I have been looking for spice cake mix for the past 6 months! I have the best pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe and that cake mix is crucial!! Every single week I check to see if it magically appeared but much to my disappointment it never does. Today was the day though!!! After exercising much patience and a lot of searching I found the cake mix!!! Pure joy!
I would be lying if I said I never prayed I'd find it. Silly I know. Though I also know that God cares about the things that are important to us. He listens and even if it takes 6 months for Him to answer he does. It's always in His timing and as we trust in Him we will have great faith for the future. I know this is kind of lame example but it's a true principle nonetheless. God loves us and helps us with everything no matter how small over how big. I love Him!
