Spring Has Sprung!!
Happy Spring friends!!!!
All the trees have basically bloomed overnight and the weather has been quite warm! So warm that yesterday we did all of our studies outside. It was the best! Sister Oaks even got a sunburn! Though this morning it was basically snowing sooo... we're a little confused. Nonetheless it has been an awesome past week!
Easter was this past week and to celebrate we watched General Conference! I learned so much as both Saturday and Sunday as we had the opportunity to listen to the prophet, apostles, and other church leaders speak. They shared messages of love, hope, and faith. Everyone should go watch if you didn't already get the chance!
The other day we were running to square to grab something when we found that a group of people had been waiting for a tour for quite some time. Seeing as no other sisters were coming and we were somewhat free we decided to take it! Ah and I am so glad we did! It was so amazing and there was such a peaceful spirit as we spoke. They asked so many questions and were so excited to learn. We shared a lot about our beliefs and I had the opportunity to share about my favorite book the Book of Mormon! One of the girls after I finished sharing expressed that if she ever received a copy she would cherish and guard it with her life! Haha it made me so happy. She had never read it, knew what it contained, muchless touched the book but yet cherished it and would guard it with her life. I was taken aback but I found myself relating to every word. I love the Book of Mormon and the peace and joy it has invited into my life. It's true and full of the spirit. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend! (Y'all are all my friends...)
