Facebook Post - This is the Place

Today we visited “This Is The Place Heritage Park”. It sits on 450 acres with lots of things to do and see. We only spent two hours there but could have stayed much longer. One of the things we did was walk the Pioneer Children’s Memorial trail. It’s dedicated to children who died crossing the plains that were 17 years or younger. It’s a beautiful trail with statues and stories about different children!! There’s a whole little village with reconstructed buildings to look into the past. We also all got a little bag of Brigham donuts that were delicious!! This is a great place to motivate you to learn more about your ancestors!!
