Weekly
Oh hey it's me again!
This week has been so good and I know I sound like a broken record but gosh I love giving tours on Temple Square whether it's to 5 or 25 people I just love it! Some highlights of our tours this week have definitely been the adorable kids who are all now my best friends, my subpar jokes, and the tearful eyes that show the spirit was able to hit home.
Temple square is just so full of life, light, and spirit and makes my heart oh so happy!
Earlier this week we received a facebook chat from this woman who was looking for help with her upcoming move. Thankfully I knew just the people to help... her local elders of course! So in gathering her information and typing in her address, it turns out one of her elders was a friend from church back home. Wild. Anyway, we gave them a call and passed on her information and let the elders get to work. We didn't give much thought to the ordeal until we received a text from the elders the next day saying they had a crazy story for us. It turns out that just a few days before they had received a call from the same lady they were a little confused seeing as she wasn't in their contacts nor did they have any of her contact information. Though she called and said "I don't know what I called this number and I don't know how I got this number in the first place, but I feel like you have an important message for me." Their call ended quickly and they weren't able to get in contact with her until we connected them. The same night that we called they visited her and set up a time to help her move the next day. As soon as they said they said they could help the rain stopped and she said she took that as a sign from God. Haha so as far as we know it went well! It was just so so cool!
Crazy how much God prepares us for some things. Whether that's preparing us to meet with missionaries, to go on a mission, or to make a big decision He is always in the details. There's no other way that I would've gotten on the mission if He hadn't been preparing me and my heart to go and do. I am so thankful for Him and His ever present hand in my life.
God is indeed so good.
