I Love Sundays!

Hello!!

Happy Tuesday friends! Not much has happened since the last time I wrote, but I will fill you on some of the highlights.

The first one being that this Sunday I got to attend an ASL ward for the very first time!! My companionship as well as Sister Webber, another sister learning ASL were both able to go. And friends entering the chapel I legit felt like a little kid in a candy store. Everywhere I looked people were signing! It was the best! Not too long after we sat, someone from the ward came and asked if Sister Webber and I would be willing to say the opening and closing prayer?! Of course we said yes! Though I have literally prayed in sign language a million times when I got up to the stand to pray all things to say left my mind. It was good though and thankfully I didn't embarrass myself too much haha. The rest of the meeting was great! I was amazing to watch and be included. It was so cool to watch the signs match the words of the sacrament prayers. It made them so clear. After the meeting we stayed and chatted and then left feeling on cloud 9. The best part is that we get to do it all again next week!! :)

As the flow of people coming to the square is starting to slow down, Sister Morgan and I have really been trying to take every opportunity to talk to everyone we see and have some meaningful conversations. Well the other day we were having a pretty slow shift in the conference center. We were stationed at the portraits of the church leaders which just so happen to be off in a corner. Meaning we don't get too many people to talk to. So when we saw this guy walk in we excitedly greeted him and asked him if he'd ever seen these paintings before. He said no so we asked if he'd like us to explain a little bit about them. He agreed! We were very excited. This was the moment we had literally been waiting for. We asked a few questions but then soon dove in to explaining all about how Christ established His church on the earth and now it has been restored with same authority. We shared a scripture and everything. Whelp we finished explaining it all and there was an awkward pause. Only for him to say, "I'm a member...". Cue the biggest face palm of the century!!!

Anyways life is so good. I love being a missionary!! It makes me so so happy!

God is good!
